Volunteers with Therapy Dog International have been improving people’s lives since 1976.

Dogs with out standing temperaments that love all people young and old that like to spread their joy with their cold noses and warm hearts are perfect candidates for becoming a TDI volunteer.

You can also click on the word brochure to find out what the dog will be tested on by a TDI Evaluator. Having a TDI Certification allows you and your dog to visit hospitals, nursing homes, care giver facilities and many more places with advanced clearance from the facility. Then you and your dog can enrich peoples lives beyond expatiations with a simple visit and a smile along with a puppy kiss and a “please pet me”. Not to mention a reading program through TDI geared just for kids where dogs hang out and help the kids in a reading program.

You will find that giving back to others with your dog will enrich your life in ways that you did not even know was pursuable.
